American Folk Art & Craft Supply brings the art of quilting, rug braiding, and traditional rug hooking into your life.  Quilting, rug braiding and rug hooking have a long rich tradition and have flourished in America since the earliest days of the colonies.  American Folk Art & Craft Supply is dedicated to bringing you a full selection of products, supplies and classes for the beginner to expert quilter, rug braider and rug hooker.
Class Schedule
American Folk Art & Craft Supply's class schedule offers the beginner and experienced quilter endless creative possibilites.  If a classes' schedule does not fit yours, please ask our staff for other options. 
Quilting Classes
Discover the wonderful world of machine quilting.  Students learn the basic skills of quilt making, such as rotary cutting, piecing, borders, quilting and binding.  Established quilting students refine and practice their skills to a level they desire.

Specialty Quilt Classes
Star block patterns are the quintessential patchwork quilt design.  Star quilt patterns reflect honor and a rich history of craftsmanship.   Start with one of the following classes:
 
Hunter Star Quilt

This pattern is one of the most beloved quilt blocks of quilters.  Hunter star quilts can be made in any combinations of your favorite colors.

Lemoyne Star Quilt The Leymone star has eight points and a diamond shape.  This star block became an instant favorite when first published in 1911.

Radiant Star The radiant star, one large multi-pieced star covers the mattress top from side to side.

Day & Night Day & Night will engage and delight you!  Paperpiece no more, this quilt block is now with an acrylic template
 
 
Rug Braiding and Rug Hooking Classes
Learn the timeless folk art of rug braiding and traditional rug hooking.  Rug making dates back hundreds of years.  Originally hand made rugs served a functional purpose to warm cold floors.  However, these beautifully created rugs soon became admired for their pleasing appeal and charm they add to any room.  Today hand made rugs cover floors in both traditional and modern homes and can be tailored to fit in any size or color scheme.

Specialty Classes and Events
American Folk Art & Craft Supply offers a variety of specialty quilt classes throughout the year.  Classes are comprehensive, creative and fun.  American Folk Art & Craft believes you can accomplish anything one-step at a time.  Specialty techniques include quilting, appliqué, sewing and more.  Please check back as we update our schedule.

Kimberbell's Twilight Boo-levard Bench Pillow

Stroll along our Twilight Boo-levard to visit all of your favorite "haunts!" Stop into Bella's Boo-tique for their grand

opening, then rest a spell beneath a spooky old tree. The boo-berry pie from Broomhilda's Bakery is simply "to die for."

Enjoy a slice, then sign up for the mystery quilt at the Candy Corn Quilt Shoppe! With fairy lights, Embroidery Leather,

buttons and Mylar and more, our Twilight Boo-levard Bench Pillow is so enchanting, it's almost scary.


Kit Fee: $210 (includes: design set, printed color instructions, fabric for front and back, pillow form, embellishment kit and stabilizer recommended for project).

Students bring general quilting and embroidery supplies to class.  Including: embroidery machine, 5X7 inch hoop, prefilled embroidery bobbins,Kimberbell paper tape,Kimberbell orange pop ruler set, embroidery thread (orange, yellow, purple, black, white. brown, etc...).


Twilight Boo-levard bench pillow embellishment kit.  "Treat" your self to shimmery candy corn flowers, sparkly Jack O' Lanterns, and a dimensional pillow and quilt.  Plus so many more bewitching details.

Snowman Runner
Saturday, January 18 and 25, 2020, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Either way you look at this Snowman Table Runner will make you smile.  Runner approximately 19 X 44 inches, features the 8 inch Creative Grids Curvy Trim tool.

Kit Fee: $89 (includes: pattern, trim tool, 6 buttons, applique sheets, fabric for top, applique, backing and binding). 

 Student will also need threads  and quilting tools.

is a tasteful tribute to happy holiday baking!

 

Baking spirits bright with jolly gingerbread cookies, luscious lollipops, and a variety of Christmas confections! Peppermint pinwheels, Holiday Buttons, ruffles, rick rack and more.  

Join teacher Lisa Monroe as she takes you through the steps of constructing this wonderful bench pillow.
 

Kit Fee: $239(kit includes: machine embroidery designs, yo yo maker, ric rac, butten set, organza, mylar, glitter sheet, pillow form, chenille needles, no show mesh stabilizer, batting, felt, fabric top, quilting fabric and fabric back).
